FBI DIRECTOR NEEDS TO CHECK HIS PRIORITIES

FBI Director Robert Mueller feels the decades-old disappearance of Teamster leader Jimmy Hoffa will be solved. Mueller say there are no new clues, but the FBI will continue to work on the case until solved.
*NOTE From The BigDawg: Just my opinion, but shouldn't Mueller and the FBI be using their vast resources to protect Americans for further terrorist attacks instead of trying to solve the dacades-old case of the Hoffa disappearance?
Now, read the REAL story of what happened to Jimmy Hoffa from The REAL BigDawg. Special thanks to information provided by Charlie Brandt, author of "I HEARD YOU PAINT HOUSES" and Eric Shawn of FOX NEWS
HOFFA -THE END?
When I started this journal it's purpose was to make comments and opine on issues that we all face every day. Regarding Jimmy Hoffa, I didn't realize that a blog, dedicated to mere comments on what was headlining the news of the day was the wrong forum and format to deal with something as complex as the greatest mystery story of all time. To tell the story of Jimmy Hoffa is analogous to peeling an onion one layer at a time until you reach the core or in this case - what really happened to Jimmy Hoffa. That is exactly what Charles Brandt did in his book, 'I HEARD YOU PAINT HOUSES.' In order to tell the story of Hoffa I would have to vastly over-simplify it. Mr. Brandt spent at least five years of his remarkable life and countless hours peeling the "layers from the onion" to finally get to the "core," and solving the Hoffa mystery once and for all.
Just before the first edition of Charles Brandt's book ('I HEARD YOU PAINT HOUSES') came out, FOX NEWS received an advance copy of the book and Eric Shawn of FOX NEWS, whom I feel is one of the best investigative journalists in the business, felt the material contained in the book was compelling and worth looking into.
Frank "The Irishman" Sheeran, a long-time shooter for the mob (as well as for Hoffa) was also a long-time prime suspect on the FBI's short list as the person who made Hoffa "disappear. " Long story short, Charles Brandt narrowed the suspects down to Frank Sheeran. After gaining Sheeran's trust, the big Irishman finally confessed to Eric Shawn as well as Charles Brandt that he was the one who killed Hoffa. Sheeran allowed Mr. Brandt and Mr. Shawn to tape his confession only on audio, but not video tape. Sheeran also said that he heard that Hoffa's body had been incinerated (in a building which has since been torn down.) I had it from a non-verifiable source, that Hoffa's body was dismembered, put into a trash compactor with the parts then being incinerated. But that's all incidental.
So, after eventually locating the old house where Hoffa was killed, Eric Shawn and Fox News got permission from the current owner to conduct a search in order to verify Sheeran's detailed account of the hit. BINGO! Almost everything Sheeran described in Brandt's book fit. Eventually, everything fell into place.
But before Hoffa's blood stained the wooden flooring of that house, the beginning of the end for Jimmy Hoffa probably started when he was serving time behind bars on charges of Jury Tampering and Fraud. President Richard "Tricky Dicky" Nixon and his "partner in crime," US Attorney General John N. Mitchell, decided to commute Hoffa's sentence. In typical Nixon fashion, every legal protocol in the book was broken in order to do this "favor" for Hoffa. Why? Nixon's propensity for abuse of power for one thing. But more important to "Tricky Dicky," were the millions of Teamster's dollars being poured into Nixon's re-election campaign fund by the easily manipulated and cowardly Teamster Prez, Frank "Fitz" Fitzsimmons. The pressure on Fitzsimmons came from then Hoffa friends, Mafia bosses Marcello, Traficante and Bufalino.
Hoffa, now out of prison still had many powerful and wealthy friends - but soon, he would find out that he had been betrayed. A quid pro quo was struck with Nixon in exchange for Hoffa's release from the big house, which was this: Fitzsimmons, was "compelled" to bar Hoffa from holding any position in the Teamsters for ten years. This enraged Hoffa - and in part - led to his demise because of his temper, his constant phone calls and threats to "spill all the beans on everybody" unless his moratorium was lifted so he could regain his presidency of the Teamsters. Hoffa's bluster and threats made his cronies in the Mafia take a second look at him. They didn't like what they saw. They couldn't control Hoffa the way they could control the bowl of jelly, Frank Fitzsimmons. So ultimately, mob boss Russell Bufalino ordered Frank "The Irishman" Sherran to take Hoffa out. Sheeran was a and a hit-man for Hoffa, but Sheeran knew that if he didn't do Hoffa that Bufalino would have him taken out.
On July 30th of '75, Jimmy Hoffa was upbeat about a luncheon date that had been arranged at the Machus Red Fox restaurant in suburban Detroit. Hoffa thought he was meeting mobsters, Anthony "Tony Pro" Provenzano from new Jersey and Tony Giacalone from Detroit to discuss money and Hoffa's taking back the Teamsters' presidency. Jimmy wasn't aware that his "stock" in the Mafia had bottomed out.
Hoffa left his home around 1:30p for this much anticipated meet with the two mobsters, set for 2:00p at the Red Fox. Hoffa waited around until about 2:15p with a no-show from Giacalone and "Tony Pro." Growing impatient, Hoffa went to a pay phone across the parking lot to call his wife to tell her that he had been stood-up. But around 2:40p, his trusted friend, Frank Sheeran, pulled into the parking lot. Sheeran said that they drove some 8 miles with Jimmy's "foster son" Chuckie O'Brien behind the wheel. Usually, Hoffa always rode shotgun but this time he was lured into the back seat of the vehicle by Mafia thug, "Sally Bugs" Briguglio beside him. Finally, at the three story "meeting house," Jimmy and Frank got out of the car while O'Brien and "Sally Bugs" parked the vehicle. Hoffa and Frank walked up the steps and into the small vestibule just inside the house. Jimmy smelled a rat. He tried to run back out of the house but the "Big Irishman" was able to stop Hoffa from going anywhere. Sheeran put Hoffa's lights out forever with two rounds behind the right ear.
It's worth noting that Frank "The Irishman" Sheeran stated just weeks before he died at the age of 83, "I stand by what's written in the book," referring to Charles Brandt's book, "I Heard You Paint Houses."

"Sheeran's confession that he killed Hoffa in the manner described in the book is supported by the forensic evidence, is entirely credible, and solves the Hoffa Mystery."
- Dr. Michael Baden M.D., former chief Medical examiner of the City of New York

"I'M fully convinced - now- that Sheeran was in fact the man who did the deed. And, I'm surprised, too, by the book's readability and by it's factual accuracy in all areas in which I'm qualified to pass judgment. Charles Brandt has solved the Hoffa mystery.
